Press release !
From Montreal and Paris to Sydney:
Presse Café, a franchise that adapts to local preferences.
Sydney, March 11th, 2009 − Presse Café, a Canadian banner founded in Montreal in 1995 and specialized in the café business, opened this week its first Australian branch in the heart of Sydney’s Central Business District. This opening represents the first of a series of Presse Café openings planned to occur in Australia and New-Zealand over the coming years.
As part of Presse Café’s International Development Strategy, Sydney is one of the 50 cities targeted worldwide where the franchise wishes to bring its concept. Presse Café, unlike other franchise concepts, is known and appreciated for being very flexible when adapting to the local tastes and preferences. The concept was brought to Australia by masterfranchisees Mr. Tony Isaac and Mr. Halim Hachem. Presse Café is part of the group Les Cafés V.P. Inc. that counts also the Café Vienne, Green Catering & Café, Premium, Ros&lina and Cupps banners. In Canada, the network represents over a hundred branches, mostly located in the provinces of Québec, Ontario and Eastern Canada. More recently, the chain established itself in Paris, in the new Paris Rive Gauche neighbourhood.
