CULTURE UP LATE - Wednesday 4th January

- Experience Lynette Wallworth’s Collisions, virtual reality storytelling which invites you deep into the Western Australian desert
- Grab a pad and learn to sketch in Wild Planet with natural history illustration instructor Catherine Barham
- Snack on sustainably farmed crickets, ants and other gourmet insects with the Bug Chef Nick Jarvis
- Create spider keepsakes in our crafts workshop, to the sounds of jazz and blues guitarist Alex Gostin
- Take part in snail racing and handle giant burrowing cockroaches and phasmids in our Creepy Creature Zoo (5.30pm – 8:30pm)
- Catch a glimpse of what goes on behind-the-scenes with a live conservation demonstration by materials conservationist Kate Jones
- Experience our new Spiders – Alive & Deadly exhibition and witness a spider being milked in our Venom Lab (6:30pm)
- Grab a drink at the Atrium pop-up bar
