Community Discussion > Christmas in Quebec

My husband and I are making plans to have a white Christmas in Quebec. Neither of us have been there before and I would love to hear tips on which area to stay in.
Thanks

I'm a big dan of Mont-Tremblant, 1h30 north of Montreal. Even if you don't ski, it's so beautifull, they describe it as a mini Whistler village. They usually have a little snow show for new years eve. You should also make a trip to Quebec city, it's very typical and there is so much history over there.
I'll be in Quebec too this Christmass!!
have fun

So, if I was going back to Quebec for Christmas, I would want to walk the old Port in Montreal, tour le vieux-Quebec. There are also charming areas around Lake Brome and Lake Magog in the Eastern Townships. I also like the Bas St-Laurent but I prefer to visit it in summer. Enjoy your trip.
